In chapter 4 we go back to the previous year to explore some disturbing revelations about Dylan’s life that come to light. This goes a long way towards explaining the boy’s reaction to Tyler’s puppies. However, we also learn that our little protagonist had someone to help get him through the worst of times.
We meet another cast member, Chase. Chase loves football. Chase loves boys. Chase loves his best friend, Miles. And Chase love to swear… a lot! He’s one cute, charismatic kid, though.
The social worker finally gets to meet Dylan and gets right to work at building trust with the boy. The conversation with the social worker, however, leads to Dylan explaining a dark chapter in his life to Dominic. How will Dom take such revelations?
