In Chapter 12, we explore what happened after the police raided Darren and Jerry’s house. We look at what happened to all the boys involved in the kidnappings. However, we find out that, even though most of the boys seem to be safe now, some of them are really not happy with their current situations.
Miles’ youngest brother, Jacob has a nightmare, leading to his mother imposing precautions on him that he, understandably, gets upset about.
Oliver and Jacob discover something interesting about themselves. They are confused about their situation, but they have a good friend to turn to, who does his very best to help the two young boys. Although their friend tries his very best to help explain everything to them, things get a little out of hand.

Right: Ben Ainsworth (Age 9)
Adults struggle with communicating with a silent Dylan. There are a lot of questions that only he has the answers to. Sadly, Dylan is not dealing with the loss of his brother very well and finds himself in a situation that does nothing but make it worse.
Dominic has to get out of the house to go and confide in his best friend, Nathan. He gets a lot more help from his friend than he originally thought he would, which only reminds him of how special Nathan really is to him.
